Bridge to the Oceans is a repurposed art piece. Once a painting, it was then converted into a collage using materials saved from over the years. The top, which looks like waves, was created using modeling paste and paint. The middle was layered with wood sticks positioned at different lengths to give the piece movement. The bottom splattered with white paint, symbolizes the night sky. All the elements combined connect us to nature, whether being of natural materials or symbolizing such, while also connecting us to the two oceans: the oceans of the earth, and the oceans of the heavens.
